Hello and happy Friday!! I have a Mother’s Day card to share with you featuring some goodies from the latest Heartfelt Wings Collection from Scrappy Tails Crafts!!

I began by stamping one of the butterflies from the Spread Your Wings Stamp Set onto Bristol smooth cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, then embossing it with clear embossing powder. I colored it with Zig Clean Color Markers, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. The sentiments are from the same set. They were white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with their Coordinating Dies.

For the background, I trimmed a piece of patterned paper from the Butterfly Kisses Paper Pad slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to a panel of teal cardstock. I die-cut the frames and centers from white, aqua and teal cardstock with the Fancy Rose Oval Frames Dies and adhered them to the background with liquid glue.

The butterfly was adhered with liquid adhesive along the center only, allowing the wings to “pop-up”. The two sentiment die-cuts were adhered with foam tape. A few Festive Gems were adhered to the butterfly wings and this card was finished.
