Happy Wednesday, friends!! I hope you’re having a wonderful week!! I’m sharing a summer shaker card featuring several goodies from the latest Pretty Pink Posh release!!

I began by stamping the wreath and three of the individual images in the Seashell Wreath Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly ink. I colored them with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I taped the inner and outer wreath dies together and die-cut it from heavyweight white cardstock five times. The outer die was cut from vellum and acetate. The acetate was adhered behind the colored wreath and the plain white die-cut layers were stacked adhered to the back using liquid glue. I added the Summer Fun Shaker Beads to the center of the wreath, then adhered the vellum to the back to finish off the shaker portion.

For the background, I stenciled the Seashell Background Stencil onto a panel of white cardstock using Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina and Twisted Citron Distress Inks. The panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to a white A2 card base. I added a vellum scalloped rectangle die-cut to the panel and adhered the shaker toward the top. The three shell die-cuts were adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape (where they hung off the edge of the wreath).

The sentiment is a combination of the Summer Script Die and a stamp from the Seashell Wreath Stamp Set. The Summer Script Die was cut five times from white cardstock. I blended Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks onto one of the die-cuts. One of the white die-cuts was adhered to the back of the ink-blended one. The other three were stacked and adhered together, then adhered behind the top ones, slightly offset. “Happy” was stamped onto white cardstock with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink by masking off the”summer” in the “happy summer” sentiment from the Seashell Wreath Stamp Set. It was trimmed into a narrow strip and popped up with foam tape to complete the card.
