Happy Winter Wishes to You – Scrappy Tails Crafts

Hello, friends!! I’m sharing a sweet winter card for Scrappy Tails Crafts today!! I combined several different die sets to create this mini slimline card that measures 3.5” x 7”.

I began by die-cutting the A7 Snowfall Cover Plate Die from dark blue cardstock. I trimmed it down and adhered it to a white mini slimline card base.

I die-cut all the elements in the Vintage Post Add-on Die Set from red, dark red, brown, white, mustard yellow, aqua and matte gold cardstock. The cardinal is from the Birch Tree Pop Up Tunnel Die Set. All the die-cuts were adhered together with liquid glue. The fence and the snow banks were adhered to the background with liquid glue and the excess was trimmed from each side. The front panel, birch trees and small snow bank from the Birch Tree Tunnel Pop Up Die Set were cut from dark blue and white cardstock. They were adhered to the front of the card, then the puppy, mailbox and cardinal were adhered, as well.

The sentiment is from the Snowflake Pop Up Tunnel Die Set. The top layer was cut from red cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock three times. The bottom layer was cut twice from heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue and then adhered to the front of the card. I used a black fine line marker to draw inn the eye, nose and mouth on the pup. A white gel pen and black fine line marker accent the cardinal’s eye. I used a red marker to draw the dots on the dog’s scarf, then added lots of Star Dust Stickles to the birch trees and all of the snow to finish off the card.

That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
