Hello, friends and Happy New Year’s Eve!! I hope you have some fun, exciting plans for tonight!! I think we’re just going to chill at home & watch the ball drop on television!!

I have a winter tunnel card to share today featuring the Snowflake Pop Up Tunnel Die Set for Scrappy Tails Crafts!! The only product that I used that isn’t included in this die set was the die for the “side walls”, which were from the Poinsettia Pop Up Dies.

I began by die-cutting the intricate tunnel die from light blue cardstock three times and the swirl die was cut once from light blue cardstock and once from heavyweight white cardstock. The embossed die layer was cut two times from white glitter cardstock and white cardstock once. The solid background die was cut from a medium blue shade of cardstock.

The top layer of the sentiment, back arched panel for the sentiment and the snowflakes were die-cut from white glitter cardstock. The top arched panel was cut from light blue and the shadow layer of the sentiment was cut from medium blue cardstock.

The “side wall” were cut from light blue cardstock. The tunnel pieces were all layered and adhered together with liquid glue. The tabs were folded and reinforced along the score lines, then adhered to the “side walls” with strong double-sided adhesive and liquid glue.

Some of the elements were layered with another die-cut, which were cut from heavyweight white cardstock for added stability.

The white embossed layer was adhered to the back of the medium blue panel. This provides a place to write a personal message and the white die-cut dresses it up a bit.

This folds flat to fit inside a 5″ x 7″ envelope for mailing!! I wish you could see all the sparkle from the glitter cardstock!!
