Have A Blast Interactive Slider Card – Trinity Stamps

Happy Thursday, fellow crafters!! Brenda back with an interactive card featuring the Blast Off Die Set and the Emergency Card Die Set #3 – Double Slider Dies from the latest release!!

I began by die-cutting the rocket in the Have A Blast Die Set from white, yellow, orange, red, aqua and frosted silver cardstock. I added shading to the white body of the rocketship with light gray dye ink and a Blending Buddy Brush, then adhered all the pieces together using liquid glue. The sentiment is also included in the Have A Blast Die Set. It was cut once from red cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together, also using liquid glue.

The clouds were created by die-cutting a panel of white cardstock with the largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Set A Die Set, then die-cutting the clouds in the Have A Blast Die Set from it. I figured out placement for the slit and notch and die-cut those from the panel using dies in the Emergency Card Die Set #3 – Double Slider Dies.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of blue cardstock with the largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Set A Die Set. I blended black dye ink around the outer edges using a Blending Buddy and splattered it with diluted bleed-proof white ink. Once dry, I used dies from the Emergency Card Die Set #3 – Double Slider Die Set to cut the notch and slit in the background.

I created the slider mechanism using dies in the Emergency Card Die Set #3 – Double Slider Die Set following Sara’s (the designer of the die set) tutorial on YouTube. She can explain it in video format much better than I can with words. There’s also a video on the Trinity YouTube channel with more ways to use this die set.

I stamped “pull” from the Papercrafting Magic Stamp Set onto the panel using blue dye ink. (I doubled up my panel for more stability.)

At this point, all I had to do was assemble and adhere all the elements together.

Oh My Stars Holograhic Confetti added to the background was the perfect finishing touch.

Here’s a photo of the rocket “blasting off” when the tab is pulled…

Isn’t this so much fun?!? I LOVE it!!

Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Have a terrific Thursday!!
