Have A Dino-mite Birthday Balloon Shaped Card – Trinity Stamps

Hello, friends!! I’m sharing a colorful, shaped birthday card featuring the Partysaurus Stamps & Coordinating Dies and the So Stinkin’ Thrilled Die Set from Trinity Stamps!!

To start, I stamped the dinosaur and balloons from the Partysaurus Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored the images with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

I die-cut the balloon shaped card base from a white, top-folding A2 card base using the balloon die in the So Stinkin’ Thrilled Die Set.

The same balloon die was cut from a panel of white cardstock. I blended Lumberjack Plaid, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks onto it using Blending Buddy Brushes. I splattered it with water and picked up the excess with a paper towel. Once it was dry, I added highlights with a white gel pen.

The sentiment is included in the Partysaurus Stamp Set, along with a couple of others. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. (One die cuts out all four words.)

Then it was time to adhere all the pieces together. The ink-blended balloon panel was adhered to the shaped card base using liquid glue.

The strings of the balloon die-cuts were adhered using liquid glue and all the balloons were popped up with foam tape, along with the dinosaur and sentiment die-cuts.

I sprinkled some Oh My Stars Holographic Star Confetti around the background with a Pickup Stick for a little shine and tied a bow around the front panel of the balloon with black and white twine and this card was finished.

I LOVE shaped cards and this adorable dino makes such an adorable shaped birthday card!!

Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful Thursday and I’ll see you soon!!
