Hello, friends!! I’m super excited to be joining the Simon Says Stamp Designer Family!! I’ll be sharing projects each month featuring new releases from Simon Says Stamp!!

Today’s card features the Holly Jolly Stamp Set from the AMAZING And Everything Nice Release!! There is also a Coordinating Die available, as well as a Stamp Set & Die Combo!!

I began by stamping the “holly jolly” in the Holly Jolly Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Rose Apple, Lipstick Red and Schoolhouse Red ink. Next, I stamped the rest of the sentiments with Versamark ink and embossed them with WOW! Metallic Brass embossing powder.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of patterned paper from the Gingerbread Village Paper Pad with a rectangle die and adhered it to an A2 panel of Lipstick Red cardstock that was cut with the largest die in the same die set. I trimmed the stamped panel and adhered it in the center of the background. Thin strips of Honey Gold Mirror cardstock were adhered at the top and bottom of the panel.

The holly leaves and berries are from the Build-A-Stocking Die Set. The berries were cut from Lipstick Red and the leaves from sage green cardstock. I added shading to the berries with Schoolhouse Red ink and the leaves with Evergreen ink. I added tiny pieces of mirror gold cardstock to show through the openings in the berries, then adhered the clusters with foam squares.
