Have A Mice Day – Trinity Stamps

Hey there!! I have a card to share with you for Trinity Stamps today!! I am continuing to create with all of the fun goodies from the Autumn Release!! I have become quite addicted to making cute little scenes on my cards!!! I just can’t get enough!!

How darling is the Mouse House stamp set? The little mice are just adorable and don’t even get me started on their house…

Let’s get to my card, shall we?Have-A-Mice-Day-1.jpg

I wanted to do some no-line coloring for this card, so I stamped all of the images from the Mouse House stamp set onto white cardstock with pale ink. I colored all of the images with Copics, added additional detail with colored pencils and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. For the background, I blended Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink with a Blending Buddy through the Layered Birch Stencil onto light blue cardstock. (This stencil set comes with four stencils, but I just used “A”.)

I cut a hill freehand from green cardstock and adhered it to the background panel. The greeting, also from Mouse House, was stamped onto the grass with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. All of the elements were popped up with foam adhesive. I felt like something was missing, so I cut a few clouds using the Rainbow Die Set and popped those up with foam tape also. A black glaze pen added some shine to the eyes and a white gel pen was used for highlights.
