Hello, creative friends!! Happy Leap Day!! I hope this finds you all well!! I have dramatic Easter card to share featuring the Crosses Cut-Out Die and He Is Risen Stamps & Coordinating Dies (which also includes the hot foil plate) from Trinity Stamps!!
I started by die-cutting the Crosses Cut-Out Die from a panel of black cardstock that was die-cut with the second largest die in the Clean Cut Layers A2 Set A Die Set.
I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to fit behind the opening and blended Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Prize Ribbon and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks onto it with Blending Buddy Brushes. Opalescent glitter paste was applied to the panel through the Shine Brighter Stencil Set and it was set aside to dry.
The sentiment, from the He Is Risen Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and stacked them behind the embossed one for dimension. The ink-blended panel was adhered behind the opening and the panel was adhered to an A2 white card base. The stacked sentiment was also adhered with liquid glue and this card was finished.
I love the contrast between the white sentiment and black background with the glow behind the crosses!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!
