Hello, crafty friends!! I hope you are having a great week!!
It seems that I am craving floral cards lately! Maybe I don’t want to face the fact that summer is coming to an end soon and this is one way for me to hold on to it!! Ha!
I broke out the Mother’s Day stamp set from Honey Bee!! I adore the floral cluster in this set and wanted to try some no-line coloring with it!
I began by stamping the floral cluster included in the Mother’s Day stamp set onto Bristol paper with pale ink and watercolored it with Tombow markers. I splattered the panel with diluted Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink, them trimmed the top and bottom slightly and adhered it to a pink cardstock panel. “Hello beautiful”, from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set, was stamped with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide onto white cardstock. It was cut out with the Coordinating Honey Cut. I used the same die to cut the shape from pink cardstock and adhered it to the back of the greeting die-cut, slightly offset. It was then popped up with foam adhesive. A few Moonlight Rhinestones were scattered around the greeting for the finishing touch!!
I love how this turned out!! Such a fun floral image to color!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I’ll see you soon!!!
I would love to know what Tombow colors you used. This is stunning!! I absolutely love it!!!
HI Lisa! I did not make note of the colors that I used…I’m so sorry!
