Hey there!! Welcome back to day 2 of previews for the Hello Bluebird Holiday Release!! I’m super excited to share a card featuring the adorable Sweet Christmas Stamps & Dies, Snow Globe Builder and Big Snowflake Die!! So many possibilities!!

I started by stamping the images from the Sweet Christmas Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. After coloring them with Copics, I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and darkened the eyes of the gingerbread people with a black glaze pen.

Next, I started on my snow globe. (I can’t wait to make a shaker with this!!) I die-cut the background and bow from Bristol cardstock, the snow bank from iridescent glitter cardstock and the outline of the globe from mirror silver cardstock. I blended some Kitsch Flamingo and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink onto the background portion of the globe, die-cut the stars and circles from it, then splattered on some diluted white gouache. I also blended some Cracked Pistachio onto the bow and added some white dimensional drops to the sugar cookie tree. The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock with Cracked Pistachio, then cut out with the die included in the Snow Globe Die Set. A little Kitsch Flamingo ink was lightly blended onto the edges. Once everything was dry, I assembled the snow globe, adding iridescent glitter cardstock to the back to show through the die-cut stars and circles.

For the background, I lightly blended Kitsch Flamingo Ink onto a panel of white cardstock that was trimmed slightly smaller than A2. Several snowflakes were cut from iridescent glitter cardstock using the Big Snowflake Die. I adhered them to the background panel and trimmed away the excess from the edges, then adhered the panel to a white top-folding A2 card base. The snow globe was popped up onto the panel with foam adhesive.

There is also a super-cute gingerbread house in this Sweet Christmas Stamp Set that I can’t wait to use!!
