Hello, crafty friends and welcome to Preview Day 1 of the Hello Bluebird new release!! I’m beyond thrilled to be designing again and I just know you are going the absolutely LOVE everything in this release!!
My card today features the new Park Play Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies on a background created with the Gallery Frame #7 Die!!
I stamped all of the super-cute images from the Park Play Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink, then colored them with Copic markers. Here are the colors that I used:
- Squirrel – E47, E44, E43, E42, E41, V17, V15, V12, RV85, RV83, RV81
- Raccoon – W7, W66, W5, W3, W1, W0
- Bear – E29, E25, E15, E13, E11, B34, YG17, YG03, YG01
- Bunny – C5, C3, C1, C0, R39, R29, R35, B95, B93, B91
- Sun & bees – Y17, Y08, Y02
- Frogs & snail – B34, YG17, YG03, YG01
- Flowers YG17, YG03, V17, V15, V12, RV85, RV83, RV81, Y17, Y08Y02
- Butterfly – V17, V15, V12
- Balloon – R39, R29, R35
- Cloud – B000, B0000
I die-cut the images with the Coordinating Dies and set them aside to work on my background.
The Gallery Frame #7 Die was cut from white cardstock. I blended Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink onto the bottom of each square and Tumbled Glass Oxide onto the top of each square and the outer frame. I adhered the outside frame to a 5.5” x 5.5” square cardbase and inlaid the frame with the square openings and the small squares. The die-cut images were adhered onto each quadrant and the balloon was popped up with foam tape. To finish, I added black glaze pen to the eyes and noses of the critters and some highlights with a white gel pen.
That wraps up Day 1 for me!! Be sure to check back tomorrow for more inspiration for Day 2!!
