Hello & happy Thursday!! Welcome back to the third and final preview day for the Hello Bluebird May Release!! The entire release will be available for purchase tonight at 7:00 pm MST!!

My card today features the You Make Me Smile Words Die and Word Buddies Woodland Stamps & Dies. I only used two of the Word Buddies on my card today, but there are so many more adorable critters in this set!!

Let’s get started!!

I began by die-cutting the You Make Me Smile Words Die three times from heavyweight cardstock, then stacked and adhered the letters together. For the background, I ink-blended Kitsch Flamingo, Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistachio, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac onto a panel of bristol smooth cardstock. I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 size cardbase.

Using the negative piece from the die-cut for placement, I adhered the letters to the background. The cuties from the Word Buddies Woodland Stamp Set were stamped with Copic friendly black ink, colored with Copics, then cut out with the Coordinating Dies. I added one to the top of the “O” and one to the middle using liquid glue and foam tape. Highlights were added with a white gel pen and a black glaze pen darkens the eyes.
