Hello – Colorful Tone-On-Tone Background – Crafty Meraki

Hello, crafty friends!! I have a colorful “hello” card to share with you today for Crafty Meraki!! This week’s theme on the Crafty Meraki Blog is backgrounds and, if you follow me, you know that a white tone-on-tone background with a colorful focal point is my fave!! That’s not very exciting but it sure makes my heart happy!! Anyway, I decided to switch it up and create a colorful tone-on-tone background with a white focal point!!

I began by die-cutting the Marrakech Mosaic Coverplate Die from a panel of pattern paper in the Color Cascade Paper Pack. I trimmed another panel of the same pattern paper to A2 size. The die-cut background was adhered over the panel of pattern paper with liquid glue.

Next, I die-cut the Mila Meraki Flora Dies from white cardstock and adhered them to the background with liquid glue. I wrapped the background with three strands of iridescent thread and tied them into a triple bow.

The sentiment, from the Gilded Greetings Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Versamark ink, sprinkled with Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing Powder and melted with a heat gun. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die and I added color with Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Ink. It was popped up with foam adhesive. Aurora Dew Drops were placed onto the background with a Bling Buddy and adhered with liquid glue.

I love how this turned out!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Wednesday!!
