Hello, crafty friends!! I’m sharing a sweet card for Honey Bee Stamps that’s perfect to send to all of our crafty friends!! I don’t have any crafters that live near me, so I like to keep in touch with my long distance crafty friends by sending cards!!
I began by die-cutting all of the parts for my bear from white cardstock using the Heart Hugs Honey Cut Set. I colored all of the pieces with Copic markers, then adhered them together with Bee Creative Glue. I also stamped the scissors and washi tape from the Just For You Stamp Set with Intense Black Ink, colored them with Copics, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. They were adhered in the bear’s arms with liquid glue. I added some highlights to the bear and heart die-cuts with a white gel pen.
For the background, I die-cut a piece of blue gingham paper from the Giddy for Gingham Paper Pad using the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. The heart patterned paper is from the Happy Hearts Paper Pad. (I’ve been hoarding this paper!!) It was die-cut with the sixth largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Set. The pink cardstock was die-cut with the second largest die in the Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cut Set. All of the layers were adhered together with Bee Creative Glue, then added to the front of a white card base. The bear was popped up with foam adhesive.
The sentiment, from the You’re A Keeper Stamp Set, was stamped onto black cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. It was cut out with its Coordinating Die, then adhered under the bear with a combination of liquid glue and foam adhesive. To finish, I gave the bear a mouth with a Copic multi-liner, added crystal glaze to the nose and added a couple of small black gems for the bear’s eyes from the Back to Basics Gem Sticker Pack.
That’s it for me today!! Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you soon!!
