Happy New Year, crafty friends!! I hope you had a wonderful New Year’s Eve!! I have a floral friendship card to share with you on this first day of 2024 for Alex Syberia Designs!!

I started by stenciling the Floral Medley Stencil Set onto white cardstock using dye inks, then using the Coordinating Die to cut it out. I also die-cut a circle of vellum with the smallest die in the Nested Stitched Circle Die Set.

For the background, I die-cut the Meadow Magic Cover Die from white cardstock. I blended purple ink in the upper, left corner and pink ink in the lower, right corner, blending the out toward the center of the panel.

The top layer of “hello” was die-cut from white cardstock using the Large Hello Die Set. I added color with teal and aqua inks  and a blending brush. The bottom layer was die-cut three times from heavyweight white cardstock. All the layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue. “Friend” is from the Hello Lovely Stamp Set. It was stamped with teal ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I adhered the floral spray and “hello” sentiment to the vellum circle with liquid glue and “friend” with foam tape, then added liquid glue to the back of the vellum behind the die-cuts and adhered with to the background panel. A few gems add a little sparkle.
