Hello, fellow crafters!! I hope you are having a great week!! I have a project to share using some new goodies from the Honey Bee 5 UnBEElievable Years Release!! What AMAZING release, huh? There is truly something for everyone!!!
If you know me, you know that I instantly gravitate toward florals!! Then mix in some buffalo plaid and that’s a match made in heaven, for me!! I have so much buffalo check decor around my house, I’m sure my husband thinks that I’m crazy…ha!
Let’s get started!!
I began by stamping the floral spray and pitcher from Farm Fresh Flowers (illustrated by the talented Emily Midgett) onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink. I colored the images with Copics and cut them out with the Farm Fresh Flowers Honey Cuts. I wanted my pitcher to look like a galvanized pitcher with a bit of rust.
For my background panel, I stamped the Buffalo Plaid stamp onto white cardstock with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide. I trimmed it down a bit and added it to a pink scalloped panel cut with the largest of the Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cuts. I die-cut the A2 Thin Frames with the same pink cardstock and chose one that would fit nicely behind my floral pitcher, which I popped up with foam tape.
The “Hello” sentiment strip was stamped onto white cardstock using the Friend Stamp Set and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide. “Friend” was die-cut from pink and white cardstock using the Friend Honey Cuts. The “Hello” strip was popped up with foam adhesive and “friend” was added across the pitcher with liquid adhesive and foam tape.
I really love how this turned out!!! I can’t wait to make more in different colors!!
Thanks so much for hanging out with me today!! Did you order any goodies from the newest Honey Bee Release? What did you decide to add to your collection? I’d love to know!!
Have a great week!! I’ll see you soon!!!
