Happy Sunday, friends!! I hope your weekend is going well!!
I have a winter friendship card to share with you today for Picket Fence Studios!!
I started by stamping the critters and tree stump from the Forest Critters Stopping By To Say Hey and Scene Building: Tree Stumps & Fire onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copics, then used the Forest Critter and Tree Stumps dies to cut them out.
For the background, I stamped the Scene Building: Winter Wonderland Trees onto an A2 panel of Bristol smooth cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I also stamped them onto masking paper and fussy cut them out. I placed the masks over the trees, then used Life Changing Blending Brushes to blend the sky with Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Inks and the ground with Evergreen Bough, Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness. I added some shading under the trees with gray Copic markers.
The sentiment, also from the Forest Critters Stopping By To Say Hey, was white heat embossed onto the bottom of the panel. I added some Winter Snowfall Paper Glaze Velvet with a paintbrush to the trees and ground for a bit of shine. Diluted white gouache was splattered over the entire background. I popped the critters and stump up with foam tape, added a bit of shine to the eyes and noses with a black glaze pen and called this one done!!
Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
