Hello, crafty friends!! Are you ready for fall?!? It’s been HOT here in the midwest this week and the latest July release from Picket Fence Studios “leaves” me longing for some cooler temperatures…not that I want to wish the summer away lol!! I have a simple fall card to share with you today!!

I began by stamping the absolutely adorable girl from the Freckle Friends: Penelope Pumpkin Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored her with Copic markers and used the Coordinating Die to cut her out. (Did you know that you can purchase the stamp & die bundle and receive 10% off?) I added darkness and shine to her eyes with a black gel pen and highlights to the image with a white gel pen.

For the background, I trimmed a panel from the Autumn Scenery Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to an A2 panel of orange cardstock. You can create beautiful background scenes in a snap with these glossy A2 card fronts!! Aren’t they gorgeous?!?

The sentiment, also from the Freckle Friends: Penelope Pumpkin Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. All that was left to do was to pop up Penelope and the sentiment with foam tape and this card was complete.

I absolutely love how this card turned out and hope you do, as well!!
