Hello, crafty friends!! I finally had time to sit and color the English Cottage Stamp from Honey Bee Stamps!! I love all the detail achieved with this red rubber stamp!!

I stamped the English Cottage Stamp onto a panel of white cardstock with Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I used my Copic markers to color in the scene. Here’s a little tip…if you find that you’ve lost your highlights, add some details back in with a white gel pen, then color over them with Copics. That’s what I did when I realized I had lost some of the details and contrast in my coloring.

The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of black cardstock with the largest die in the same die set and adhered the two panels together with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiments are from the So Special Stamp Set. There are so many great sentiments in this set!! I find myself reaching for it again and again!! They were stamped onto black cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, embossed with white embossing powder and cut out with the Coordinating Dies. They were both popped up with foam tape and this card was finished.
