Hello, friends and happy Sunday!! I’m absolutely thrilled to be guest designing for Hero Arts this month with a few of their Hero Studio subscription collections for June!! I have one card to share today featuring the stunning June 2025 Layering Stencil Set of the Month: Hydrangea!! I’ll have a couple more cards to share later this week featuring the June Die Set of the Month: Memories and the June Stamp & Cut of the Month: Seashells!!

Let’s get to my project, shall we?

I began by stenciling the June Layering Stencils of the Month: Hydrangea onto an A2 panel of white cardstock using Distress Inks, keeping the design toward the left side of the panel. I used Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry for the blooms and Twisted CItron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness for the stems, leaves and centers of the flowers.

I adhered a strip of black and white diagonal striped pattern paper to the left edge of a white, top-folding A2 card base. I trimmed about 1/2″ off the left side of the hydrangea panel and adhered a strip of Raven cardstock to the back, leaving just a narrow strip peeking out from behind the left edge, then adhered it to the card base.

The sentiment is from the June Stamp & Cut of the Month: Seashells. It was stamped onto Raven cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. I cut it out with the Coordinating Die, then popped it up with foam tape. I used a yellow gel pen to add one dot to the center of each of the blossoms and this card was finished.
