Happy Monday, crafty friends!!
I’m back to share another card that I created with the March Essentials by Ellen Release from Ellen Hutson!! In case you missed my first two projects, you can check them out here!!
To begin, I stamped the images from the Strawberry Fields Stamp Set onto white cardstock and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I also die-cut two thin oval outlines from red cardstock using the second and third largest dies in the Essential Ovals Die Set. I love that you get the solid oval and outline from each die in this set!!
For the background, I die-cut the largest die in the Scallop A2 Card Frames Die Set from yellow gingham paper in the Gingham Galore: Spring Paper Pad and adhered it to a white top-folding card base. The die-cut strawberries, leaves and a couple of the flowers, along with the ovals, were adhered with liquid adhesive, while I popped a trio of flowers up with foam adhesive.
The sentiment is from the Casual Greetings Stamp Set. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with its Coordinating Die. This set also includes a few snarky sentiments and I really love this font!! It was also adhered with foam tape, along with three bee die-cuts. The final touch was the addition of some yellow gem stickers to the centers of the flowers!
This card just screams “Spring” to me!! So fresh!!
Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Have a wonderful Monday!!
