Celllllabrate Good Times…Come On!! You’re welcome…I’ve had that song stuck in my head for days…lol.

I am super excited to be part of the Honey Bee Stamps & Simon Says Stamp exclusive STAMPtember collaboration today!! The name of the stamp set is “Tie One On”, so I had to make a card with that sentiment. I love that this set can be used for anyone…even those masculine cards that I find so difficult.

To begin, I penciled in some diagonal lines onto a panel of heavyweight white cardstock. I used the “Celebrate” sentiment from Tie One On and stamped repeatedly across the panel with Candied Apple, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet & Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks. The largest balloon and the bow were stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic markers. I drew a straight line for the balloon string and fussy cut the entire image. I also cut black cardstock to offset behind the balloon, creating a shadow. The balloon was adhered with foam adhesive onto the stamped panel. I stamped “It’s Time To” onto a strip of black cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I popped it up onto foam tape toward the bottom of the card panel. “Tie One On” was also heat embossed in white on red cardstock, then fussy cut and adhered with foam adhesive. I sprinkled on a few pieces of Surprise Confetti Mix. Finally, a healthy coat of Clear Wink of Stella and Crystal Nuvo Glaze add sparkle & shine to the balloon.
