Hello, friends!! Welcome to Day 4 of sneak peeks for the new Honey Bee Stamps Spring Bliss Release!!
(Links to the goodies from the new release will not be active until they go on sale on February 16th.)
My card today features the Bee Young: Spring Stamp Set and Dies, a free gift with purchase!! How adorable is she?!? I’ve also used the new Playful Pastels Paper Pad, Playful Pastels Gem Stickers and Grassy Hill Borders Stencil Set. Let’s get to the details!!
I began by stamping the adorable girl and bee from Bee Young: Spring Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring them in pastel tones with Copic markers, I cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts.
For the background, I die-cut the largest Scallop A2 Card Frames Die from purple cardstock, then trimmed a piece of colorful gingham patterned paper from the Playful Pastels Paper Pad to slightly smaller. I also die-cut white cardstock with one of the smaller Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cuts. I trimmed a panel of bristol smooth cardstock to be slightly smaller and ink blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto the sky with a blending brush. I used the new Grassy Hill Border Stencil and a blending brush with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides for the grass.
The sentiment, also from Bee Young: Spring, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. The die-cuts were popped up onto the background with foam adhesive. Some yellow gems from the Playful Pastel Gem Sticker Pack added to the centers of the flowers was the final finishing touch!
Thanks so much for dropping by today!!
