Hello, friends and happy Friday!! The Adventure Awaits Release from Honey Bee Stamps is now available and we are celebrating with a fun and inspiring Instagram hop!! This release is full of goodies to create masculine cards, cards for the outdoor enthusiast and much, much more!!

It’s no secret that the Lovely Layers Series is one of my faves, so I couldn’t wait to work with the Lovely Layers: Water Lily Honey Cuts!! I combined it with a couple of previously released products for my card today!!

I die-cut all of the pieces of the Lovely Layers: Water Lily from white cardstock and added Distress Oxide Inks with blending brushes to add the color. I used a combination of Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry inks for the petals and Peeled Paint and Rustic Wilderness for the stem and lily pad. The die-cuts in the center of the lily were colored with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade. I adhered all of the pieces together with Bee Creative Glue and used a bit of foam tape to add some dimension to the very front petal.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Die Set, then added the pierced detail with the Waves Pierced A2 Cover Plate. I added Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks to the panel with blending brushes using the Layered Waves Layering Stencil Set. It was adhered to a white A2 card base and the lily was adhered with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment is from one of my all-time favorite sentiment sets, the Be Still Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and adhered with foam adhesive. The Crystal Glimmer Enamel Stickers are the perfect water droplets!
