Hello, crafters and happy Thursday!! The AMAZING Honey Bee Stamps Cottage Countryside Release is now available and we’re celebrating with a fun an inspiring Instagram hop!! I thought I’d share the details for my card here, as well!!

I began by die-cutting the Lovely Layers: Butterflies Dies from white cardstock. I blended blue dye ink toward the inside of the wings and a dark yellow on the outer areas using Beeluxe Blending Brushes. I used a brayer to add Metallic Gold Pigment Ink to the wings. The same Metallic Gold Pigment Ink was applied directly to the bodies of the butterflies. Once the ink was dry, they were adhered together using Bee Creative Glue.

The background is one of the beautiful papers that are included in the April free-bee paper pack (free with qualifying $100 purchase while supplies last). I swiped the edges of the paper onto the Metallic Gold Pigment Ink Pad.

The sentiment is from the new Great Greetings: Sympathy Honey Cut Set. The top layer was die-cut four times from heavyweight white cardstock. Metallic Gold Pigment Ink was added to one of the layers by swiping it across the ink pad. The shadow layer was die-cut twice from heavyweight white cardstock. Once the ink was dry, the layers were stacked and adhered together using Bee Creative Glue, then adhered to the front of the card. Lots of matte gold pearls from the Vintage Pearl Sticker Pack create the trails behind the butterfly and add some movement to the card.

That’s it for me today!! Be sure to join in the festivities over on Instagram for your chance to win one of two $50 GCs!! You cam get started on my feed @mypapercutcreations!!
Have a great day!!
