Happy Halloween, friends!! I hope you had a great weekend!!

We’re hopping over on Instagram to celebrate the Honey Bee Stamps Make It Merry Release!!I wanted to share how I created my card, in case anyone was interested in the details!! I combined lots of goodies from the new release for my festive, holiday card!!

I started by die-cutting the Vintage Picnic Basket, Lovely Layers: Poinsettia and Lovely Layers: Winter Greenery Honey Cuts from brown, red and green cardstock. I added some details and shading with Copic markers, then adhered all of the layered die-cuts together with Bee Creative Glue. Next, I brushed on some Grit Paste with a stiff brush and while it was still wet, sprinkled on Rock Candy Glitter for lots of sparkle. I love this snowy effect!! I wish you could see it in person!!

For the background, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set, then used the Winter Gems A2 Cover Plate. I adhered it to an A2 panel of plaid paper from the Make It Merry Paper Pad with liquid glue, then a white card base. The basket, poinsettia and greenery die-cuts were arranged and adhered with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment is from the Foil Script: Holidays Hot Foil Plates and Honey Cuts Set. It was foiled onto Glimmer Specialty Cardstock with matte gold foil using the Glimmer Hot Foil System, then die-cut. It was adhered in the top left corner with liquid glue. I added some Gold Glimmer Enamel Stickers to the centers of the poinsettia for a little more sparkle and shine!!

I am IN LOVE with the new Lovely Layers Sets!! Just when I thought they couldn’t get any better, Melissa just keeps surprising me!!
