Hello, friends and happy Saturday!!

It’s Day 1 of sneak peeks for the Honey Bee Stamps Modern Spring Release!! This release is full of Spring goodness that leaves me longing for warmer weather and blooming flowers!!

My card today features the Sweet Spring Mice Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies with the Smile Buzzword Stamp Set & Honey Cuts!!

How adorable is this darling little mouse? I couldn’t resist him!!

I began by stamping the adorable mouse with the flowers from the Sweet Spring Mice Stamp Set with Intense Black Ink. After coloring the image with Copic markers, I cut it out with the Coordinating Honey Cut.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of blue cardstock with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. I blended some Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink onto the top of the panel with a blending brush. The clouds were die-cut from white cardstock using the Whispy Clouds Honey Cuts and adhered to the background panel with Bee Creative Glue, trimming the excess from each side. The grass border die in the Horizon Slimline Border Honey Cut Set was used to die-cut the grass from green cardstock. I blended some Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink onto the top of the grass with a blending brush, fading it out toward the bottom. It was adhered to the blue background panel, then to a white, top-folding card base.

The top layer of the Smile Buzzword Honey Cut was die-cut from pink cardstock three times and the bottom layer twice from heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with Bee Creative Glue, then adhered to the background panel. The rest of the sentiment, from the Smile Buzzword Stamp Set, was stamped with pink ink onto white cardstock and trimmed into a narrow strip. The sentiment strip and mouse were popped up with foam adhesive. I used a black glaze pen to darken and add a little shine to the mouse’s eye and nose and a few Hugs and Kisses Gem Stickers add a little bling to the flowers.
