Hello, my friends!! Today is Day 1 of sneak peeks for the Honey Bee Stamps Summer Stems Release!! I am super excited for you to see all of the goodies in this release!! I know I say this every time, but this is my favorite Honey Bee release yet!! I don’t know how Melissa comes up with all of these amazing ideas, but I’m sure glad she does!!
The links to the new release goodies will be live when the release goes live at 9:00 pm CST on Tues., June 15th.
I have two cards to share today!! Both of them feature the Helping Hand Honey Cuts and High Five Stamp Set & Coordinating Honey Cuts!!
I began by die-cutting all of the elements using the Helping Hand Honey Cuts. The hands were cut from flesh colored cardstock and the peace signs were cut from a variety of colored cardstock, black cardstock and patterned paper from the Team Tie-Dye Paper Pad. I layered the patterned paper peace signs over the black ones, slightly offset, then adhered all of my peace signs to a white cardstock panel, trimming away the excess.
I added some shading to the hands with Copic markers, folded the fingers behind and adhered them to the back. The nails were die-cut from black cardstock and pink glitter cardstock. I added some Glossy Accents for a little shine. The sentiments were white heat embossed onto black cardstock using the High Five Stamp Set, cut out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts, then popped up with foam adhesive.
I really LOVE how these turned out!! My head is swimming with so many ideas for these sets!!
Be sure to visit the Honey Bee Blog to see more fabulous ideas from the design team!! The release will be available at 9:00 pm CST on June 15th!!!
See you tomorrow for Day 2!!!
