Honey Bee Stamps Vintage Holiday Release – Day 1 Sneak Peeks

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a great weekend!!

Have you started on your holiday cards yet? Well, hold tight because Honey Bee’s Vintage Holiday Release is going to knock your socks off!! Seriously, I think this is my favorite Honey Bee release ever!! Today kicks off four days of sneak peeks and the release will be available for purchase on Thursday, October 14th at 9:00 pm CST!! Set your alarms…I have a feeling a lot of these will go quickly!!

The links to the new release goodies will be live when the release goes live at 9:00 pm CST on Thursday, October 14th.

I have a fun 3-dimensional card to share with you today combining lots of new goodies!!

I began by stamping the adorable snow couple from the Snow Family Like Ours Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copics and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I added highlights with a white gel pen and some shine to the eyes with a black glaze pen.

Next, I die-cut both dies in the A2 Scene Builder Card Base from blue cardstock and stamped the Falling Snow Background Stamp onto the back panel with Versamark Ink. I heat embossed it with WOW! Diamond White Embossing Powder, giving a little sparkle to the snowflakes in the background.

The mountain and snow banks in the A2 Mountain Scene Builder Add-On Honey Cuts were cut from dark gray and white glitter cardstock. The Pine Trees Honey Cut Dies were cut from green cardstock and the edges were blended with a bit of Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink. The mountain and tree die-cuts were splattered with diluted white gouache.

Once the gouache was dry, I folded the dies on the score lines, adhered the card base together and attached the mountains and snow banks with Bee Creative Glue. The trees and snow people were adhered to the snow drifts, also with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment, also from Snow Family Like Ours, was heat embossed onto blue cardstock with Diamond White Embossing Powder and cut out with the Coordinating Die. There are so many great sentiments in this set, along with the adorable snowmen!! I also die-cut blue cardstock two more times and adhered it to the back for stability. It was then adhered to the front frame of the card base.

It folds flat to fit into an A2 size envelope and pops up when removed!! This A2 Scene Builder Card Base is definitely a must-have!! So many possibilities for building scenes!!

Be sure to buzz on over to the Honey Bee Blog for more inspiration and sneak peeks!!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!! Have a terrific Monday!!
