Hooray!! Honey Bee

Hello everyone!! Welcome to my first post as a Social Media Designer for Honey Bee Stamps!! Hooray!! That’s how I felt when I got the news that I had been selected for the team!!

This card was inspired by the Spring Sequin Mix…I fell in love with this mix as soon as I opened my order and knew I wanted to create a shaker card with it!!!

I started out by stamping all the images from Busy Bees with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copic Markers. All of the images were cut with the Busy Bees Coordinating Honey Cut DiesI added some extra sparkle with a Wink of Stella Clear Pen. I blended Distress Oxide Inks for the background in the colors of the sequin mix…WIlted Violet, Broken China & Cracked Pistachio. The Hooray Honey Cut Die was used to die cut the sentiment from the ink blended background. I cut the outer outline from white cardstock, layered up both pieces and adhered it the to the background. I decided on placement of two of the bee die cut images from the Busy Bees set and die cut the dashes into the background (I love the movement this creates), then adhered the bees. I used two dies from the A2 Double Stitched Frame Honey Cuts to cut a frame for the shaker…placing the Spring Sequin Mix inside. Here are a couple of other angles…
I had so much fun creating this card and hope you enjoyed it as well!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!!! Have a great weekend!!!
