Hope Your Birthday Is Tweet – Pink & Main

Hello, fellow crafters and happy Saturday!! I have a “tweet” birthday card featuring the Sweet Birds and Floral Banner die sets, along with sentiments from the Floral Banner Sentiments and Sweet Birds Sentiments stamp sets, from the latest Pink & Main July release!!

I began by die-cutting the flowers and leaves from Salon, Dress Shop and Moss cardstock, along with pale yellow, light purple, orange and dark green from my stash, using the Floral Banner Die Set. I trimmed a panel of Ice Rink cardstock to 4.25″ square, then arranged the flowers and leaves into a wreath and adhered them with liquid glue. The square panel was adhered to a piece of pattern paper from the Happy Days Paper Pad that was die-cut with the largest die in the Layered Rectangles A2 Die Set.

Next, I die-cut one of the birds in the Sweet Birds Die Set from Sunny Sky, Middle School, Moss, Asphalt and Ice Rink cardstock, as well as orange from my scrap drawer. The banner was cut from Sunny Sky and Middle School cardstock using the Floral Banner Die Set. The sentiment, from the Floral Banner Sentiments Stamp Set, was stamped onto the banner with Asphalt ink.

The sub-sentiment, from the Sweet Bird Sentiments Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a strip of Asphalt cardstock. The blue banner was adhered with liquid glue, while the bird and embossed sentiment were popped up with foam tape. White Sticky Gems were added to the centers of each of the flowers (and a few inside the wreath) to finish off the card.

That does it for me today!! Be sure to check out the rest of the fabulous July release!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
