Howdy Little Buckaroo – Trinity Stamps

Hello, crafty friends and Happy Halloween!! I have a sweet card to share today featuring one of the adorable images from the Trinity Stamps Gnome on the Range Stamp Set!! This would be perfect for a new baby or a birthday card for a boy!!

I started by stamping the image and sentiments from the Gnome on the Range Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I also die-cut four more layers of the “howdy” die, one from red cardstock and three from heavyweight white cardstock.

Next, I stenciled the Cow Print Stencil onto a panel of smooth white cardstock using brown dye ink and a Blending Buddy. I die-cut the panel with the split panel die in the Emergency Card Essentials Die Set 1, along with another panel of white cardstock. I blended the same brown dye ink on the smaller die-cut so my brown colors would match (plus, I think it looks like suede). The largest rectangle, the largest circle and the longest strip die in the same Emergency Card Essentials Die 1 Set were cut from red cardstock, then the second largest circle was cut from white cardstock.

The strip was adhered across the angle where the cow print and brown panels meet and the excess was trimmed from each edge, then they were adhered to the red A2 panel. The circles were layered and adhered with liquid glue.

The “Howdy” die-cuts were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, with the red layer slightly offset, then adhered under the circles. The cowboy and the rest of the sentiment were all popped up with foam tape.

I added some Creamy Vanilla Star Sprinkles to the bottom of the card to accent the sentiment and this card was finished.

I have so many more ideas to share with you using this darling Gnome on the Range Stamp Set!! I can’t wait to share them with you!!

Have a wonderful Thursday and I’ll see you soon!!
