I’m sharing the details for the card that I shared over on IG on Thursday for the Alex Syberia Designs and WOW! Embossing IG Hop!! There’s still time to hop along for your chance to win one of two GCs to the two shops, so what are you waiting for?!? Wait…don’t go yet!! Let’s get to my card…

I began by stamping the Spring Garden Stamp Set with WOW! Clear Embossing Powder and embossing it with Polished Gold Embossing Powder. I watercolored it with Karin Brushmarker Pro Markers and used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.

For the background, I die-cut the Floral Lattice Cover Die from white cardstock and adhered it over a panel of dark blue cardstock. The Spring Garden die-cut was then adhered to it.

For the sentiment, I die-cut the top layer of “hugs”, from the Love & Hugs Die Set, three times from heavyweight white cardstock and the bottom layer twice. One of the top layers was pressed onto the WOW! Embossing pad and embossed with Polished Gold Embossing Powder. I repeatedly applied embossing ink and powder to the die-cut three times, heating between each layer for a smooth result. The layers were all adhered together and added to the front of the card. The sub-sentiment, also from Spring Garden, was embossed with Polished Gold Embossing Powder and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with a thick adhesive foam strip.
