Hello, crafty friends!! I hope you’re having a great week!!
I have a really sweet card to share with you today for Crafty Meraki that would be perfect for a special friend for Valentine’s Day!! This card could also work anytime of the year!!
I started by stamping the darling little lamb with the balloon from the Love Furever Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. There are so many adorable critters in this sweet set!! I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut it out. (There are Coordinating Para-Dies available, but I didn’t have them at the time.) I also added highlights with a white gel pen.
The Flirty Wings Background Para-Dies was die-cut from white cardstock and layered over another white cardstock panel trimmed to the same size. It was then added to an A2 size panel of red cardstock, then a white top-folding card base.
The “hugs” sentiment was die-cut from red cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock three times using the Hugs Para-Dies. They were stacked and adhered together with the red layer on top, then adhered to the front of the card. The sub-sentiment, from the Love Furever Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip. The sentiment strip and lamb were both popped up with foam adhesive for dimension.
That’s it!! The tone-on-tone background with the pops of red and black just make my heart happy!! The colors could easily be changed to the recipient’s favorite color!
Thanks so very much for spending a bit of your day with me!! I really appreciate it!!
