Good morning everyone & happy Friday!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!! I have the weekend off, so we are going to the lake to relax!!

I am sharing an encouragement/friendship card today using the Rainy Days Together stamp set from Trinity Stamps…

I began by stamping the images from Rainy Days Together onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring the images with Copics, I fussy cut them out. I ran a black Momento marker around the outside to finish off the edges. This really makes a huge difference in your fussy cut images. The sentiment, also from Rainy Days Together, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip. Then I went to work on the background. I chose a couple of Copic marker refills and used them with isopropyl alcohol on Yupo paper.  Once it was dry, I cut the panel down with a stitched rectangle die and matted it on black cardstock. The fussy cut images and sentiment strip were all popped up with foam adhesive. I added some details and highlights with a white gel pen. The Raining Rhinestone Mix used as raindrops was the perfect finishing touch for this card.
