Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I’m sharing a sweet card featuring one of the adorable little scenes from the Honey Bee Stamps Meow & Furever Stamp Set!! This kitten playing with the bird just captured my heart!!

I started by stamping the image from the Meow & Furever Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored it with Copics, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. A black glaze pen was used to add a bit of shine to the critters’ eyes.

For the background, I die-cut an oval with a die from the Sweet Stacks: Ovals Die Set. I blended a bit of Twisted Citron Distress Ink onto the bottom of the oval and added clouds with the cloud stencil in the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil Set using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and blender brushes. I splattered it with diluted Mermaid Lagoon and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks for a little interest. The scene die-cut was adhered using Bee Creative Glue.

A piece of pattern paper in the March Free-Bee Paper Pack (I’m telling you…don’t sleep on these free gifts!) was die-cut with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set and adhered to a white top-folding card base. A die from the Opulent Layering Frames Die Set was cut from vellum and the oval was adhered to it, then added to the front of the card.

The sentiment is also from the Meow & Furever Stamp Set. It was stamped onto black cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, sprinkled with white detail embossing powder, then melted with a heat gun. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die, along with three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together, then adhered under the scene using Bee Creative Glue. Small blue pearls from the Old Glory Pearl Sticker Pack were added to the corners of the vellum layer and this card was finished.
