Hello friends!! Welcome to my first post as a Trinity Stamps design team member…I couldn’t be more excited!! Thursdays are my regular days for posting on the Trinity Stamps Blog, so I’ll be seeing you there at least once per week. I can’t thank Taniesa enough for blessing me with this wonderful opportunity and allowing me to play with her gorgeous products!!!
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Bouquet of Hope set & of course, it had to be the set that I inked up first!! I can’t wait to color this up with other mediums and color combos!!
Let’s get to it, shall we? I assume that’s why you’re here…lol!!
I began by stamping the main image, along with several of the flower clusters, with Versamark Ink onto Bristol paper. I added gold embossing powder and melted it with a heat tool until smooth. I chose several colors of Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers that I thought would be fall-like. We are headed toward fall, after all, although it has been in the nineties all week in Missouri. Next, I used the Bouquet of Hope Coordinating Dies to cut out all of the images. I also cut a shadow for each image from black cardstock, adhering them off-set behind the colored die-cuts.
Then I went to work on the background. I chose several colors of Distress Oxide Inks that I thought went well with my die-cuts: Blueprint Sketch, Mustard Seed, Seedless Preserves & Abandoned Coral. After ink blending these colors onto Bristol paper, I spritzed the background with water and picked up the excess with a paper towel. Once it was dry, I used a Versamark Pen to draw a line around the outside of the panel and heat embossed it with the same gold embossing powder that I used on my die-cut images. The sentiment, also included in the Bouquet of Hope stamp set, was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The flowers were adhered at the bottom of the panel, while the girl holding the bouquet was popped up with foam adhesive. After trimming the access from the die-cuts, the panel was adhered to a black, A2 size panel. A sprinkling of gold stars add some bling, while Limoncello Nuvo Drops add a little shine to the flower centers.
Here are a couple of close-ups…
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I’ll see you soon!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!!
