Hello, crafty friends!! I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!!
I have a clean and simple card to share with you today for Crafty Meraki with a faux embossing technique!!
I began by stamping the orchid from the Beautiful Mind Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, then cut it out with the Coordinating Die.
For the background, I die-cut the Fern Leaf Dies several times from white cardstock. I arranged and adhered them on the front of a white A2 cardbase with liquid glue, starting in the center and working my way out. I trimmed the excess from the edges and now I have a faux embossed background!!
Next, I die-cut a small circle from white cardstock and a scalloped circle from pink cardstock. They were adhered together and the orchid was added on top. I popped the circles up onto the lower right of the card front with foam tape. The sentiment, from the Good Vibes Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip and adhered with a combination of liquid and foam adhesive. A trio or Rosy Opal Gems balances out the orchid.
This is such an easy technique with stunning results that you can do with any shaped die!! I hope you’ll give it a try, if you haven’t already!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great Thursday & I’ll see you soon!!
