Hello, friends and happy Thursday!! I hope you are staying cool!! We are in the 100 degree range through the weekend!! I love summer, but I could definitely do without these extreme temperatures!! Oh well, it gives me an excuse to spend more time in my craft room!!
I have a fun slimline card to share with you today!! The Puppy Party Slimline Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies are a must if you’re a doggie lover like me!! Let’s get started!!
I started by stamping the pups and accessories from the Puppy Party Slimline Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.
Next, I stamped the confetti and streamers repeatedly along the top of a panel of white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink and colored them in the same colors as the doggie accessories. That panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Windows Die Set and the largest die from the same set was used to cut a panel of black cardstock. The sentiment, also from the Puppy Party Slimline Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with its Coordinating Die.
The two slimline panels were adhered to a white, top-folding, slimline card base.
The balloons were adhered to the bckground with liquid glue, while the strip of pups and sentiment were popped up with foam tape.
I love all of the different types of dogs in this set. Plus, you can color them however you like to resemble the recipient’s puppies!!
Thank you so very much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful Thursday and stay cool!!
