Le the Adventure Begin – Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Tuesday, fellow crafters!! I’m sharing a card today featuring the Lovely Layers: Small Suitcases Honey Cuts from Honey Bee Stamps!! This would be perfect for a graduation, new job or for someone who is traveling or moving!!

I started by die-cutting all the elements for the suitcases from aqua, sage green, peach, pink, brown and matte gold cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Small Suitcases Die Set, then adhered them all together with Bee Creative Glue. I trimmed a strip of scrap cardstock and adhered it to the back of the largest three suitcases with Bee Creative Glue. This will allow me to pop up the entire stack of suitcases onto the background as one piece with foam tape.

For the background, I embossed an A2 panel of aqua cardstock with the Air Mail 3D Embossing Folder. I blended a bit of Peacock Feathers Distress Ink around the edges with a blending brush, then splattered it with diluted Black Soot Distress Ink. Once dry, I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 white card base with Bee Creative Glue. The suitcases were popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment, from the Plane Awesome Stamp Set, was stamped onto black cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink. It was embossed with white embossing powder, cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up with a combination of foam tape and Bee Creative Glue. A trio of matte gold pearls from the Old Glory Pearl Sticker Pack around the sentiment finishes off the card.

Well, that does it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!
