Let’s Celebrate – Crafty Meraki

Hello & happy Thursday, friends!! I hope your week is going well!!

I absolutely love the roses in the Wedding Bouquet Stamp Set from Crafty Meraki!! I wanted to try my hand at some heat embossing and watercoloring on them!!

I started by white heat embossing the roses in the Wedding Bouquet Stamp Set onto Bristol cardstock. I watercolored them with Karin Brushmarker Pro Markers and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.

Next, I watercolored another panel of Bristol cardstock with the same markers that I used on the roses. Once it was dry, I trimmed it to A2 size. I splattered the background and roses with diluted white gouache.

A scalloped frame was die-cut from Bristol cardstock and adhered to the watercolored panel. The roses were also arranged and adhered. The sentiment, also from Wedding Bouquet, was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and clear heat embossed. I fussy cut it out and popped it up with foam adhesive. Finally, I added a few Citrine Opal Gems to draw your eye to the sentiment.

Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! I sure appreciate it!!

Have a great day!!
