Let’s Hang Out – Trinity Stamps

Hello, crafters and happy Thursday!! I hope your week is going well!! I’m sharing a cute card for Trinity Stamps that’s perfect for the upcoming Halloween season!! I, for one, can’t stand spiders…but paper ones are okay in my book!! And you know how I LOVE my punny sentiments!! Let’s get started…

I started by blending Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of smooth white cardstock and Blending Buddy Brushes. I used Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Seedless Preserves, Villainous Potion and Black Soot. The panel was splattered with water and set aside to dry. I die-cut the spider web from the You Donut Scare Me Circle Card Add-on Die Set from silver metallic cardstock.

Next, I stamped the spider and sentiment from the Web Designer Stamp Set (speaking of puns!) onto white cardstock with black pigment ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. They were cut out with the Coordinating Dies, along with a small heart. Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink was blended onto the heart.

Once the panel was dry, it was die-cut with the second largest die in the Clean Cut Layers A2 Set A Die Set and adhered to an A2 white card base with liquid glue.

The spider and web were adhered to the background with liquid glue, while the sentiment and heart are popped up with foam tape.

I adhered a Goldenrod Heart Bauble next to the sentiment and a Heliotrope Heart Bauble to the center of the heart. Googly eyes finish off the spider and add a touch of whimsy and movement.

That’s it for me today!! Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!!
