Hello, friends!! I have an encouragement card featuring the Life Is Tough Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies from Trinity Stamps!! I have a friend who is fighting breast cancer, so I wanted to use shades of pink.
I began by stamping the image from the Life Is Tough Stamp onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink and coloring it with Copic markers. I added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. I also die-cut two more layers from heavyweight black cardstock.
Next, I stenciled the Heartburst Stencil Set onto white cardstock. I used Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Ink for one of the layers and fuchsia stencil butter for the other. Once the stencil butter was dry, I trimmed the panel slightly smaller than A2. The largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Set A Die Set was used to cut an A2 panel of dark pink cardstock.
The stenciled panel was adhered to the pink A2 panel with liquid glue.
The black die-cuts were adhered behind the colored one with liquid glue, slightly offset. One was shifted down and to the left, the other up and to the right. This creates a shadow all around the focal point, setting it apart from the background. It was popped up in the center of the background with foam tape.
I added Perfect Pink Heart Baubles to each of the hearts on the image using a Pickup Stick Tool to complete the card.
Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! I appreciate your time!!
