Hello, fellow card makers and happy Thursday!! Fun fact…It’s my mom & dad’s 60th anniversary today!! Love is in the air on the Trinity Stamps blog this week!! My card today features the Best Place To Be Stamps & Coordinating Dies, Checkered Background Add-On: Hearts Stencil Set, Nested Heart Dies and Simply Sentimental: Love Stamps & Coordinating Dies!!

I started by stamping the sweet gnomes and bees from the Best Place To Be Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

Next, I stenciled the Checkered Background Add-On: Hearts Stencils onto white cardstock with Kitsch Flamingo and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Inks using Blending Buddy Brushes. The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangles Set A Die Set. A panel of red cardstock was cut with the largest rectangle die in the same set. The largest die in the Nested Hearts Die Set was cut from vellum.

The sentiment is a combination of the Simply Sentimental: Love Stamps & Coordinating Die Set. The top layer of “love”, from the Simply Sentimental: Love Die Set, was cut once from red cardstock and two times from heavyweight white cardstock. The bottom layer was cut four times from heavyweight white cardstock. The rest of the sentiment was stamped onto a white cardstock strip with red dye ink using a stamp from the Simply Sentimental: Love Stamp Set.

The rectangle dies were adhered together, then added to a white A2 card base using liquid glue. The heart was adhered to the background, also using liquid glue.

The gnomes were adhered to the center of the heart with liquid glue. The die-cut sentiments were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then added to the front of the card.

The bees and the sentiment strip were popped up with foam tape. A white clay heart from the Creamy Vanilla Heart Sprinkles Mix was adhered to the girl gnome’s pocket and this card was finished.
