Hello, crafty friends!! I hope your week is going well!!

Have you been bitten by the hot foil bug?!? I sure have and I have a pretty simple card to share with you today for Crafty Meraki that really lets the foil shine (literally & figuratively)!!

I began by foiling the Rosy Life Hot Foil Plate onto Glimmer specialty cardstock with opal foil and my Glimmer Hot Foil System. I blended three shades of pink dye ink onto the paper and wiped the excess from the foiling. I wasn’t sure if ink-blending would work on the specialty cardstock, but in this case it did! However, I tried it with a layering stencil and it smeared, so as long as you can buff it off like I did here, it will work. I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to a white top-folding card base.

Next, I foiled the Handmade Love Hot Foil Plate onto Glimmer cardstock with pink foil and cut the sentiments out with the Coordinating Die. I LOVE this sentiment set!! It foils all of the sentiments at once and cuts them out with one die!!

The Radiant Heart Honey Cut was cut from white cardstock and I blended some pink ink onto the center. It was popped up with foam tape and the sentiment die- cut was adhered to it. Meraki Rosy Opal Gems were the perfect finishing touch!!
