Make A Wish – Cupcake Shaped Shaker Card – Trinity Stamps

Hello, friends!! Happy Independence Day to those of you in the US and happy Thursday to everyone!! I have a fun cupcake shaped shaker card to share today for Trinity Stamps!! I love shaped cards and if it’s a shaker, even better!! I had to make it one of my favorite flavors…butter yellow cake with chocolate fudge frosting!!

I started by stamping the liner and frosting from the Hey, Cupcake Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink. The cake part of the cupcake was die-cut using a die in the Cupcake Card Die Set. All of the pieces were colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the Hey, Cupcake Coordinating Dies. The shaker frame portion of the frosting was die-cut using the two frosting dies in the Hey, Cupcake Die Set and colored to match the frosting. I also die-cut several more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them together. The acetate layer was also die-cut with the same die set, and all of the layers were adhered together with liquid glue. The Teenie Tiny Sprinkles were added to the window and the frosting layer was adhered to the back.

The card base was cut from heavyweight white cardstock using the Cupcake Card Die Set. It was folded along the score line and reinforced with a teflon tool. The cupcake layers and shaker were adhered to the card base with liquid glue.

The sentiment is also from the Hey, Cupcake Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink, colored with Copic markers to match the sprinkles and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam adhesive strips and this card was finished.

I love how this turned out!! There are so many options with these sets and the design team has made some fantastic cards with them!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you soon!!
