Good morning, friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! Today I am sharing a project that features the beautiful Honey Bee Paper Pads!! I just love these double-sided patterned papers and how easy they are to mix and match!!
These paper pads are on sale this week, as well as coordinating enamel dots and gems. It’s a great time to pick some of these up for yourself!! More on the sale at the end of this post!
I just adore the interactive Flower Pot Card Honey Cuts, but haven’t had a chance to use them yet. I decided to combine them with the patterned papers from The Bee’s Knees and Spring Fling paper pads.
I began by die-cutting all of the elements Flower Pot Card Honey Cuts from white Pearlescent Paper, pale blue cardstock and paper from The Bee’s Knees and Spring Fling paper pads. I used the one of the Diamond Patterns Stencils to add some subtle embossing to the flower pot. After gluing all of the components together, as shown, I moved on to the greeting.
The top layer of “bloom” was die-cut from white cardstock four times and the second layer from pale blue cardstock once using the Bloom Honey Cuts. I heat embossed one of the white die-cuts three times using the Bee Kind embossing powder from the Bee’s Knees Embossing Powder Trio. I stacked and adhered the die-cuts together for added dimension and stability. The remainder of the greeting, from the Bloom stamp set, was white heat embossed onto pale blue cardstock and cut into strips using the Cut-Align. The strips were popped up on the flower pot with foam adhesive.
Lastly, I added a few of the The Bee’s Knees Enamel Dot Stickers to bring a pop of yellow to the flower pot portion of the card.
I am a HUGE fan of shaped cards and I LOVE how this one turned out!!
As I mentioned above, the paper pads, enamel dots and gems are all on sale this week!! Be sure to enter the code PATTERN10 at checkout!!
Thanks for dropping by!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next soon!!
