Happy Saturday, crafty friends!! I hope you have some exciting plans for the weekend!! I have a holiday card to share with you today featuring the Candy Cane Christmas Stamp Set from Picket Fence Studios!!
I started by stamping the image from the Candy Cane Christmas Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added highlights and accented the stamen with a white gel pen, then fussy cut it out.
For the background, I foiled a panel from the Holiday Treasures Fabulous Foiling Toner Card Fronts Pack with Red Flake Foil. I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 panel of red cardstock. I die-cut main section of the Scene Building Gate & Fencing Dies four times from white cardstock and adhered them to a panel of white cardstock. It was trimmed and adhered to a slightly larger panel of red cardstock, then adhered to the foiled background. I love the texture that this adds to the background and no one will ever know that it’s a fence!!
The sentiment, from the Merry Christmas Friends Stamp Set, was heat embossed with red glitter embossing powder and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The sentiment and candy cane were both popped up with foam tape. I added sequins from the Holiday Stockings and Vintage Christmas sequin mixes and this card was finished.
Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Love your card and the coloring. Bright and cheerful. Can you tell me what copic pinks you used on the flower?
Thanks so much, Laura!! I believe I used R85, R83 & R81. Hope this helps!!
