Hello, crafty friends and happy Thursday!!
It seems that I am always trying to stock up on birthday cards!! When I saw the True Chimpion Stamp Set from Crafty Meraki, I totally fell in love with these adorable monkeys and decided to create a birthday card with them!!

To start, I stamped the monkeys, branches and flowers from True Chimpion with InkOn3 Blackout Ink and colored them with Copic markers. I added highlights with a white gel pen, dots of yellow gel pen to the centers of the flowers, then darkened and added shine to the eyes and noses with a black glaze pen. Then I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.

For the background, I die-cut the Mini Slimline Olivia Die from green cardstock, then adhered it to a mini slimline panel of darker green cardstock with liquid glue. It was then adhered to a white mini slimline card base.

The sentiments, also from the True Chimpion Stamp Set, were white heat embossed onto black cardstock and trimmed into narrow strips. All of the die-cuts and the sentiment strips were popped up onto the background with foam adhesive and this card was finished!

I hope you love how this turned out as much as I do!! There are some really creative sentiments in the set and I can’t wait to use them with more of these adorable chimps!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you soon!!
